The free version uses Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The following are processed:
- Online identifiers (advertising ID / IDFA or GAID)
- IP address (possibly shortened)
- Device information (model, OS, screen size, language)
- App usage data (interactions with ads, timestamps)
- Approximate location data (only with granted permission)

6. App distribution – Apple App Store
Our app is distributed via the Apple App Store (Apple Inc., One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA). Apple independently processes data such as Apple ID, purchase history and device data. We only receive aggregated, anonymised analytics data.
Apple Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
7. Cloud sync – Supabase
The app offers an optional cloud sync feature (premium service) that enables synchronisation of pet profiles, diary entries and app settings across multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, Android) as well as family sharing. Using cloud sync requires an active paid subscription (Pro or Ultimate).
Data is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it leaves it, and is stored exclusively on European servers operated by our service provider Supabase (Supabase, Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 318992; server location: EU). Supabase processes only encrypted data packets as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR; neither we nor Supabase have any technical access to the content of the stored data.
If the subscription or user account is cancelled, all data stored in the cloud is deleted. Without an active subscription, locally stored data on the device remains available.
Legal basis: Consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR or contract performance in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (premium subscription). You can deactivate the sync at any time in the app settings.
8. iCloud backup
Independent of cloud sync via Supabase, the app offers the option of backing up your app data to your private iCloud account (Apple Inc., One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA). The backup is stored encrypted in Apple’s data centres; as the provider, we have no access to this data.
Legal basis: Consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can deactivate the iCloud backup at any time in the device or app settings.
